Poet Tree

The Poet Tree was one of the 1960’s themed Funky Trunks displays celebrating the era the park first opened, 50 years on.

Composed of a hand-stitched textile metal-frame leaf, printed tree wrap … and some little somethings.

It is said that, in the short time this installation was in place, a circle of poets gathered here underneath these branches.

… did they find any of the printed leaves scattered underneath for the finding?
