“a raw poem is mist
at the most distant point from words”
Indigo’s spoken word offerings provide a good mix of the everyday and existential, the heavy and the humourous.
Indigo has represented South Australia three times on the national stage. She came 3rd in the 2009 Australian Poetry Slam with a poem about silent shame, and came 5th nationally in 2011 with a poem about love.
Her work covers many themes, can be suited to conferences, forums and presentations with topics such as mental health, experimental language, love, death and much humanness in between.
Past presentations include:
- Ideas Poet, introducing sessions at Adelaide Festival of Ideas
- Spineless Wonders Presents, storytelling evening
- Body Image Forums, Womens Health Statewide, Womens and Childrens Hospital
