On a wildflower background, thin green stems, angular and opening out into orange and pink petals against a pale blue sky, is a porcelain torso of a man … sat atop a purpley-blue vase which curves out underneath him like a skirt … or a playing piece from the board game Cluedo. (Professor Plum is that you??)
Wearing a purple hat over the long ginger hair that frames his face, and a green top with a sunflower across the front, his tones blend with those of the flowers quite nicely. (Almost too nicely … Did he plan this stunt? Costume himself in camouflage? Regardless… )
His pale face, punctuated with draped ginger moustache and enlivened with a touch of blush to the cheeks, is apathetic in expression. (Sarcastically so? We don’t know. But I do spot an eye roll.)
Head tilted to one side, he expertly holds his arms and hands in the shape of a teapot … one is the handle, one is the spout.
